Private training sessions are done in the location of your choice! Typically, this is in the comfort of your home, or a location where you’re encountering certain issues, such as a dog park or other public setting. We want to meet you where you’re at, address your dog’s behavior in his/her daily environment, around the usual triggers, and provide real world solutions for you to move forward with! For multi-dog households, working in YOUR home can be a key in assessing the necessary areas of training focus.

Board & Train services are provided at our home in North County San Diego. During a board and train stay, your dog will be living with us and experiencing immersion training, with 24/7 supervision and care. Once you book a board and train service, you are responsible for drop off and pick up of your dog at a pre-selected time.

The free consultation can be conducted over the phone or email, whichever is more convenient for you! It consists of speaking with our head dog trainer/behaviorist, Kaelin, about any dog-related topic you need help with! Kaelin will diagnose your issue and give you a detailed response with advice pertaining to your dog, specifically tailored to try to help you work through whatever you need help with. Many of our clients have obtained the information they needed to help them correct a certain issue with their dog just from the free consultation alone, so this offer is extremely valuable!

In order to meet everyone’s scheduling needs, we make ourselves available from 8am-8pm, 7 days a week!

Our goal is to always have a time that works for you at the earliest possible opportunity so please don’t hesitate to let us know if you need help ASAP; we will make every effort to connect with you right away!

Absolutely not! It is NEVER too late to train a dog. Even if your dog was 8 years old, my answer would still be the same. If you are just beginning to train your dog (no matter what age), “The Puppy Training Handbook” is an amazing resource for beginners! See this blog post for more information about this.

Our only requirements to accept your dog into an All Things Pups™ training experience are an open mind, patience, and commitment to follow the principles that we want to share with you!

Our dog training services are comprehensive and customized to ensure success for you and your individual dog when we step away. From the very first session we make ourselves available to you at ANY time for troubleshooting questions. If your inquiry is too complex for email or phone assistance, you will be advised to book additional training. Board & Train services also include follow up sessions to help ensure you are confident and equipped to continue your dog’s training at home, we won’t leave you hanging!

We intend for our website, blog, social media posts, and direct training to equip you with the knowledge and perspective needed to succeed, and that process begins BEFORE booking services with us. We are seeking committed, motivated clients, who are as excited to work with us as we are with them. Every dog is a little bit different and every owner learns in their own unique way, but taking a customized approach to training means we are focused on meeting you where you’re at, and seeing you through for the long haul!

With that being said, whether or not you are successful in maintaining your dog’s behavior comes down to YOU. Are you willing to put in the work over the long-haul? Are you committed to building a relationship with your dog, and not a dictatorship? Will you embrace the tools that work, and take the steps we taught you? If the answer is yes to all of those questions, you will do AWESOME! In fact, we’re proud to say that we’ve NEVER had a client come back to us saying that they haven’t seen results.

We do not offer any guarantees, solely for the reason that the long-term results of our training services are incredibly dependent upon the level of commitment and patience each owner chooses to put into the teaching, skills, and techniques that have been given in an All Things Pups™ training session. Our biggest goal is for you to be 100% satisfied with your training experience. We have never worked with a dog who has not responded nor improved after being exposed to Kaelin’s positive reinforcement training methods. If for any reason you aren’t completely satisfied, please contact us to let us know how we can improve your experience.

If you’re already thinking about refunds, then we might not be the best match for each other. It’s super important to All Things Pups™ that you feel extra comfortable about your dog receiving the best training of their life here! We encourage you to go back and browse our videos and social media posts so you can get to know us, and take a look at what our competitors have to offer in order to be sure that we are what you’re looking for before moving forward.

Payments and deposits for training sessions and packages are non-refundable, but can be held as credit if rescheduling your session(s) within 30 days. It is of the utmost importance to us that you get what you need from training your dog with All Things Pups™. If for any reason you are unhappy with your training services, we will work with you to understand how to best resolve the situation.

Absolutely not! While “The Puppy Training Handbook” Program focuses on walking you through the first year of your puppy’s life, it includes a wealth of information that covers invaluable information, no matter your dog’s age! From solving behavioral problems to command training, veterinary needs and grooming tips, our program is your one-stop guide for truly All Things pups!

We’ve never come across one resource such as “The Puppy Training Handbook” that is equipped with every piece of information that a dog owner will need to effectively raise and train a puppy. Our guide prepares you for everything that will come your way when raising a puppy: from preparing for bringing your puppy home, to basic training commands, to crate training, to potty training, to solving behavioral issues, to grooming needs, to basic veterinary needs, and everything in between!

There are a couple things you can do to get a more detailed preview of what is inside “The Puppy Training Handbook”:

“The Puppy Training Handbook” does not primarily focus on “tricks”, but rather on giving you the tools to train your dog to be a well-rounded, well-trained, and well-behaved dog. However, our guide does give you the information on how to teach your dog basic commands that will help in the training process of transforming your dog into an obedient pup. Often people get confused about the meanings of well-trained and well-behaved. A dog can know every trick in the book, but still not listen to his or her owner when called; this is an example of a dog that is well-trained, but not well-behaved. “The Puppy Training Handbook” focuses on helping you raise an overall obedient dog who is both well-trained AND well-behaved.
