Kaelin Munkelwitz is the owner of All Things Pups® and the head dog trainer of the San Diego region.
After years of studying to become a veterinarian, Kaelin quickly realized after getting experience in the field that the career path she thought to be her destiny was ridden by politics, greed and malpractice. Devastated and heartbroken, Kaelin went back to what has always made her happiest at heart, rescuing dogs.
As Kaelin got heavily involved in Southern California dog rescues, working with fosters and constantly offering training advice to volunteers and adopters she realized that she had a special set of skills that allowed her to bridge the gap of communication between dogs and their owners.
A combination of both Kaelin’s years of training experience back in Minnesota and her innate understanding of canine behavior led Kaelin to her new passion of helping as many dogs around the world through owner education of her training philosophies.
Years later, Kaelin is now the trusted trainer for many celebrities, social media influencers, and entrepreneurs on Forbes "30 under 30" list due to her extensive experience and uncanny ability to read and shape dogs' behavior. Kaelin is a member of the ADPT and an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator, and she has built a reputation within the rescue community as a "miracle worker" with aggressive and reactive dogs; so much so, that she is considered the 'go-to' trainer for aggressive dogs on the verge of euthanasia among rescues she affiliates with.

Meet Carrie!
Carrie started her career in dog training in 2009 at a guide dog school for the visually impaired community. She was captivated and hooked on what became her dream job through seeing the dogs placed with people that gave them independence that they otherwise didn't have.
She was able to get to where she is today by working with certified trainers that helped hone her skills in troubleshooting behavior issues and ensuring that the dogs were well-behaved both in public and at home. She was promoted in 2012 to overseeing all aspects of the kennel staff. From facilitating puppy programs to working with temperament testing dogs, Carrie did it all. She found passion in fostering relationships with the dog loving community.
In 2021, Carrie moved back to San Diego where she was born and raised to be closer to her family. She continued her career at All Things Pups where she received invaluable mentorship from dog training expert Kaelin Munkelwitz.
