Meet Carrie!

 

Carrie started her career in dog training in 2009 at a guide dog school for the visually impaired community. She was captivated and hooked on what became her dream job through seeing the dogs placed with people that gave them independence that they otherwise didn't have.

 

She was able to get to where she is today by working with certified trainers that helped hone her skills in troubleshooting behavior issues and ensuring that the dogs were well-behaved both in public and at home. She was promoted in 2012 to overseeing all aspects of the kennel staff. From facilitating puppy programs to working with temperament testing dogs, Carrie did it all. She found passion in fostering relationships with the dog loving community.

 

In 2021, Carrie moved back to San Diego where she was born and raised to be closer to her family. She continued her career at All Things Pups where she received invaluable mentorship from dog training expert Kaelin Munkelwitz.
